                          Goole Map with Seedbomb locations

Check out the Map to see the spread of seedbombs through the city by clicking here or on the image.
The map is constantly changing as more sites are targeted. Expect to see a big growth in Spring 2012.

                          Cognitive Maps of Limerick City

On  June 27th 2011, Wildroutes held  drop in mapping workshop at Occupy space, Thomas St., Limerick.
It was an informal setting with participants seated at a large table and provided with materials including  pencils, pens, markers, coloured card, various papers, glue, scissors, magazines, fabric scraps, glitter and stamps.  The guidelines for maps were minimal - participants were asked to draw a map of an area they know well in the city, perhaps their regular route, old neighbourhood, seed bomb locations, places that have meaning for them.
Here are some of the results.

                          Participant Route Map, Aug 2011

All participants of the Seedbomb campaign were given a bag of seedbombs and a map of limerick. They were asked to disperse the seed bombs along a route they use regularly, keeping within the city boundaries, and then mark this route on the map.
The result is a network of routes linking sites around the city. When the seeds grow and flowers bloom, this will not only be beneficial in regards to ecological and aesthetic aspects of the city, but it also allows users of public spaces to become more aware of their environment and make a personal connection with the city.
